What should I pack for the Nepal Scenic Tour?

Pack comfortable walking shoes, lightweight clothing, a warm layer, a rain jacket or compact umbrella, sunscreen, sunglasses, and a hat. Temperatures can vary between destinations, particularly in the hills, so layers are useful. A small daypack is also convenient for daily sightseeing.

Is Wi-Fi and mobile connectivity available throughout the tour?

Wi-Fi is available at most hotels, particularly in Kathmandu, Dhulikhel, Bandipur, and Pokhara. Mobile coverage is generally good in populated areas, although connectivity can become weaker in some rural and hilly sections of the journey.

Credit and debit cards are accepted at many hotels, larger restaurants, and established businesses in Kathmandu and Pokhara. However, cash is still useful for smaller shops, local restaurants, markets, and purchases in smaller towns. ATMs are widely available in major tourist areas.

Is tap water safe to drink in Nepal?

Travelers are generally advised to drink bottled, filtered, or properly treated water during their stay. Bottled water is readily available throughout the tour, and your guide can advise you on safe drinking-water options at each destination.

Is Nepal safe?

Nepal is a popular destination for international travelers and is generally welcoming to visitors. As with any international trip, it is sensible to take normal precautions with valuables, personal belongings, and crowded areas. Our guides and local team are available throughout the tour to assist with practical matters.

Can I experience local life during the tour?
