    Amritsar by Shatabdi Express

    6:15 AM – Pick up from your Delhi hotel and transfer to New Delhi Railway Station to board the train to Amritsar.

    7:20 AM – Depart Delhi on the Swarna Shatabdi Express (Air-conditioned Chair Car/First Class). Breakfast will be served on the train (included in your ticket).

    1:45 PM     – Arrive in Amritsar. Receive assistance at the railway station and transfer to your hotel.

    Amritsar, meaning “Tank of Nectar,” was once a dense forest with a sacred pool, surrounded by several villages. Legendary tales say Lord Rama fought a battle here with his sons, Luv and Kush, during which a heavenly jug of nectar revived the fallen soldiers. Maharaja Ranjit Singh (1780–1839), the Lion of Punjab, unified the region and developed Amritsar into a prominent city.
