Best time to do this Tour
October – February: The best time for the Central India Jungle Tour is from October to February, when the weather remains cool and pleasant for wildlife safaris and sightseeing. Daytime temperatures generally range between 68°F and 86°F (20°C–30°C), while mornings and evenings can be refreshingly cool at 46°F–59°F (8°C–15°C). The forests are lush after the monsoon, making this an excellent season for birdwatching, photography, and comfortable game drives.
March – June: These months are widely regarded as the best time for tiger sightings. As temperatures rise and natural water sources begin to shrink, wildlife gathers around lakes and watering holes, increasing the chances of spotting the elusive Royal Bengal Tiger. Daytime temperatures typically range from 86°F to 108°F (30°C–42°C), although early morning and late afternoon safaris remain the most rewarding.
Please note that Bandhavgarh National Park and Kanha Tiger Reserve remain closed during the monsoon season, generally from July to September, as the forests regenerate and road conditions become unsuitable for safari operations.

The Jungle Safari Experience
The Central India Jungle Tour includes unforgettable game drives in both Bandhavgarh National Park and Kanha National Park, also known as Kanha Tiger Reserve, two of India’s most celebrated wildlife destinations. Each safari takes place in a government-approved open 4×4 vehicle, specially designed for wildlife viewing and photography. Every vehicle accommodates a maximum of six guests, accompanied by an experienced driver and a licensed forest naturalist who helps track wildlife and shares fascinating insights into the parks’ flora and fauna.
Safaris are conducted twice daily, in the early morning and late afternoon, when wildlife is generally most active. Each game drive lasts approximately 4 to 5 hours, covering around 40 to 60 kilometres of designated forest tracks. The exact route varies according to the allocated safari zone and guidance from the forest authorities, ensuring that every safari offers a unique experience.
Bandhavgarh National Park is renowned for its high density of Royal Bengal Tigers, while Kanha Tiger Reserve is famous for its vast meadows, dense sal forests, and thriving population of wildlife, including the endangered hard-ground barasingha. Along the way, you may also encounter leopards, sloth bears, Indian gaur, wild dogs, jackals, deer, langurs, and an impressive variety of birdlife. Although tiger sightings can never be guaranteed, every safari offers an exciting opportunity to experience the remarkable biodiversity and natural beauty of Central India’s forests.
